"The One Sea We See" is a film by artists Nurtane Karagil and Iliada Charalambous, with the support of Aycan Garip, set in Famagusta, Cyprus. It looks at how tourism and fishing development are harming local waters, viewed through the experiences of fishermen and scientists. The film highlights the impact on the fishermen’s work, lives and explores ways to protect the sea as a commons, a cultural and natural resource accessible to all members of a society.
